The story of Jephthah is such a good reminder that we must know our history! When the King of Ammon lied to Jephthah about his own history (think 1619 project and CRT today), he wasn’t fooled or self-loathing or bending over backwards to apologize for something that didn’t even happen…he knew his own history and was able to fire right back and use the truth to dispel the lie.
