Today’s Founder’s Bible reading (pgs 47-30; Gen 27-30) is shocking in many ways. Our pristine view/expectation of what makes a Godly leader is blown to bits w/the deceptive, conniving ways of Jacob. I remember 1st having my eyes opened to this by my friend & still struggling musician but doing better in business , Jeremy Boreing, when he had me out to his Bible study in LA years ago.
Another quick thought to follow up on yesterday: imagine your spouse choice making your mom so miserable she is tired of living (see Rebekah in 27:46). Be smart young people! And if you’ve already created chaos in the family by making a bad choice, then dig deep and work hard towards resolution through constant & never-ending improvement in your marriage (see xomarriage.com and familylife.com).
