There is no doubt. We are in a war for the very soul of America. What we are as a country, who we are, is under relentless assault. If we are to have any hope of preserving what we love about America, we must join in this war on the side of freedom.
It is time for warriors.
But not just any kind of warrior. We need what William Wordsworth described as “happy Warriors”. 
Patriot Academy has one mission – to raise up a generation of principled leaders who are ready, willing, and able to fight to see the torch of freedom preserved. Just over this last summer, Patriot Academy has trained over 400 young leaders who fit the description of a “happy Warrior”. But nowhere was this more clearly seen than at the Patriot Academy Simulation at C3 Church in San Diego, California.
It’s no secret that California is generally unfriendly to Constitutional principles of freedom. However, the students that attended the Simulation in San Diego had a joy and passion that was contagious. Despite the difficulty of promoting freedom in such a hostile environment, each student had an inward light that made the path before them always bright.
The students came to the Patriot Academy Simulation with an intense desire to learn. Notes were taken feverishly throughout the Constitutional classes, the communication training, and the worldview instruction. Each student engaged in the program with thoughtful questions.
But they didn’t stop there with a resolve to learn. It was apparent that those in attendance saw their moral being as their prime care. It was so encouraging to see each day began with prayer and to see the student’s commitment to finding God’s will for their own lives.
War is never easy. But when the prize is freedom, the price is well worth paying. The students at the C3 Patriot Academy Simulation are an inspiration to us all.
