WHOA! I did not remember that the people tried to stone Joshua & Caleb for speaking truth. And I thought getting banned from social media was bad!
Also in today’s reading, Moses pled w/God to have mercy when the people were such rebellious snowflakes. I guess we should all be praying for God’s mercy, not just on those who agree with us and are fighting for liberty, but also on the sheep & the fools. Yea, yea, I said “I guess,” but of course it’s not a guess… that’s exactly how we should pray & I’m going to try and do better. Let’s just also pray that liberty does not have to wait for an entire rebellious generation to die off like in today’s reading. And also today, we learn what it really means to be swallowed up by the earth!
