Today we continue our reading through the history of the English Bible and we find so many of America’s Founding Fathers involved in the printing and distribution of Bibles. From Adams, Jefferson, and Rush to Hamilton, Thomson, Hancock and so many more, the supporters of Biblical Citizenship reads like a Who’s Who of American Founders because it IS a Who’s Who of those who started this Nation and framed our founding documents. Also in today’s reading is interesting information about the Apocrypha and why some Bibles include these books and others don’t.
