A small handful of patriots, knowing they likely wouldn’t survive, took a stand against a much larger British force, who were on their way to disarm and confiscate American munitions. What kind of people are willing to take that type of stand?
 
Most of us don’t know that these men were pastored by Jones Clark, who preached week after week sermons that fueled the patriotism of Lexington’s inhabitants. Without Clark, the Battle of Lexington might never have occurred.
