Dear Patriot Family,
As the typical political hacks use the Uvalde tragedy to push policies that will only cost more lives, I wanted to zero in on facts and solutions.
If the goal is to reduce or eliminate the carnage, we have to be adults about this and stop living in fantasy land where gun free zones and dangerous political virtue signaling that leads to more tragedy, not less.
Rational people understand that there is evil in the world and mass murder events have happened throughout history, more often committed by governments than by individual people, and often not even using guns. The worst school massacre in U.S. history, as well as two of the worst mass murder events of the last year, involved no firearms, but rather bow and arrow, knives, dynamite, or even simply using the family Suburban.
We at Patriot Academy understand the laws of nature and nature’s God, so on this subject our focus is to stop the threat as quickly as possible. This means not foolishly relying on the impossible utopian idea that police will be able to protect every citizen every minute of every day.
The ONLY strategy that has the best chance of decreasing the killer’s carnage, is to train and arm MORE citizens, not disarm them. The goal of our Constitutional Defense Course at Patriot Academy is to train enough citizens so there is a sheep dog in every restaurant, grocery store, school and church to stop a threat as soon as possible.
Compare last Tuesday’s hour and half rampage in Uvalde to the very next day when a would-be mass murderer firing into a crowd in West Virginia is stopped immediately by a woman with a concealed firearm, saving dozens of lives.
No plan is full proof against a dedicated killer, but being the wise person described in Proverbs 27:12 increases the likelihood of stopping the threat sooner and saving lives.
Lastly, no culture can completely remove evil, crime, and the nature of man. However, removing moral values and absolute truth, while indulging the kindergarten silliness that all ideas are good and everyone gets to make up their own truth is an absolute formula for disaster. We must start acting like adults again, acknowledge the laws of nature and nature’s God, and once again teach the basic realities of good and evil.
