Wycliffe, Tyndale, Coverdale, Rogers, Cranmer, Foxe, Calvin, Knox, Eliot, Sauer, Aitken, Thomas, Carey, and Collins. Some of those names we know, others we don’t. All were instrumental in making the Bible more available to more people. Just as the Gutenberg Press would break the hold of power the elites held over God’s Word until that time, we now live in a time where technology has broken the hold of power the media & political elites held over information. That is why they are clamping down so hard to keep control and why we today, like those champions of Biblical liberty named above, must sacrifice whatever it takes in the next few years of power struggle to prevent totalitarian controls and embrace freedom of expression and seeking truth.
